I can't believe it but I'm not counting the days anymore...I've found a good rhythm and I am not thinking "how much longer" or "when is this going to be done with" I just hope I can keep it up after the 21 days. Even though I'm no longer counting days and waiting for this to finish, I do have to make sure that I make it through day 21, that's on Monday.
I hiked by myself today and I pushed myself...I carried a 20 lb backpack. Ten minutes into the hike, I started to think this wasn't such a good idea, I was feeling it. 20 minutes into the hike I was debating whether to return and ditch the backpack. I decided to man-up and I soldiered on. The biggest problem was that the weight was on my shoulders, my already stressed out shoulders. But after a while I kinda got used to it. 3 hrs 5 min later, I was happy to be done. Polar watch stats: 1246 cal, 45% fat, Max HR 166, Ave HR 127.
I came home and fixed a huge salad with spinach, mushrooms, tomato, avocado, broccoli, kale. Followed it up with a yummy shake.
Then I took a hot bath with Epson salt.
